We want each resident to feel they have a place to call home. By taking time to get to know each resident before they move in, we create individualised and personal care packages to suit each individual.
Residents arrive to a freshly decorated room and are encouraged to bring their own posessions and small peices of furniture. Fresh newspapers and magazines are provided and we provide a wide range of activities from crafts, music, quizzes, aromatherapy, group singing and excursions to the local sights. A resident at Norwood House need not have an empty schedule! Outside of the relaxing atmosphere of our home, we offer a wide variety of activities, from arts and crafts, to singing and music quizzes.
We are specialised in offering care for those with memory disorder. Our guidelines are informed by the latest studies into care for alzheimer's disease and memory disorder.
